The festival grounds are at the end of the street (it's a dead end street).

It is also just a 2 km walk from the train station of 'Vielsalm', so it is very easy to come by train. It is close to the center of Vielsalm, but still secluded in the most beautiful nature part of Belgium!

There will be small fluo arrows all over Vielsalm telling you the way. From the train station you can probably also just follow the other people :)

All is set for a new edition of the Nova's Incident. It will take place on August 20th & 21st 2011 at the same amazing location in the most beautiful part of Belgium. Also the line-up came together very well with Tim Schuldt (retro set), SynSUN, Alternative Control, DigiCult, Ephedrix, Aquila, Agneton, Syncron, Kristian and many more. Friday April 29th it is time for another installment of the Atsuko Project events in Liège, Belgium. After inviting SynSUN for their first edition they will now invite DJ Nemesis to this second event. It will still be organized at the cosy Inside Out Boat. Saturday February 26th DigiCult and Nemesis are scheduled to play in one of the great cities of the world: Istanbul in Turkey. The place to be is the Istanbul Live performance hall, one of the nicer venues in the city.

Thursday February 17th our friends from the Morphonic Records label in France are pulling another party out of their hat. With 'Digital Footprint' at the 'Batofar' boat in Paris they have arranged a line-up full of positive energy. From the Dacru side there's a Nemesis dj set and an Aquila live act, for the first time in France! The event also counts as a release party for the 'Weekend Travellers' EP by Aquila, which will be released just days after the event. Other great artists for the line-up come from the Morphonic side with names as Toltek and Shagma. With the latter one also featured on the Aquila EP!

A first event for Dacru artists in the 2011 will be the Flashback party at the infamous Butan Club in Wuppertal, Germany, taking place from Friday to Saturday January 21st to 22nd. It will be a classic night bringing the best in psytrance and oldschool goa trance from 1989 to 2011, spread over 4 different floors. DigiCult will bring a live act and there will also be a dj set of Nemesis & Oonah. For more info you can click here to see the party info at goabase.

A nice upcoming gig for DigiCult's DJ Nemesis is the Alien Safari event in Cape Town, South Africa. Alien Safari is one of the most respected and longest running promoters in Africa's most southern tip. In fact this event, dubbed 'Flying Circus', will be their '15th birthday bootyshake'. Something to look forward to! The location is a very nice nature spot and also the line-up looks yummy with live acts and dj's as Commercial Hippies, Headroom, Daksinamurti, Atyss and more. During the next week, from Monday July 26th to Sunday August 1st, the Elemental Evolution festival will take place in Turkey. The place to be is Mugla, near the city of Dalaman in the south west of Turkey. On the line-up plenty of Dacru artists. Flyers are out there for a new and exciting chapter of Nova's Incident open air. The 2010 edition will happen at the same location we have grown to cherish as one of the finest ones in Belgium! On the line-up this year of course many Dacru talent amongst which we see Lamat and F.F.T from Mexico. Also legendary Talamasca will make another appearance at a Dacru event. The progressive bunker is hosted by Eargasm this year, the chill out by Mindmelt once more. For now you can have a look at the flyer for full line-up. By the beginning of summer we will open a party info page that should fullfil your every info need! For now you can already mark the weekend of August 14th and 15th in your agenda!

For the first time ever we will have some Dacru artists available in South Africa! From December 7th to December 21st 2010 the DigiCult live act and Nemesis dj set will be ready for action in the most southern country of the African continent. The next upcoming event for Dacru is a special one! During the Ghent city festival we will enjoy daily free electronic sessions. The venue is the 'Rabot', a historic monument where we have held some nights before. This time there will be 11 consecutive evenings in different music styles hosted by various Ghent based organisations. Friday February 12th is the date for DigiCult, Aquila and Nemesis to pay at Carneval in Trance. That's a two day event organized by Listen&Enjoy and Luna Club in Cologne, Germany. For more information you can have a look at the flyer or click here for the goabase party details.

In a last minute setup DigiCult and Nemesis will be playing at a club in Delhi tonight. The gig in India's capital is organized by our friends from Namaha records.

The weekend from February 5th to 7th is the time for the Chakra View festival in India. The location is set in the beautiful jungle of Agonda near to the finest beaches of Goa. DigiCult and Nemesis will be performing in India for the first time, conquering a new country for Dacru! The festival is looking good with different stages, other activities, performances and plenty of attention for the ecological needs. And of course a fine line-up including also Atomic Pulse, Z-Machine, Slider, Sungirl and many more.

Dacru Records will be presented at China's most important online radio that is dedicated to electronic music. Go to www.udancecn.com. We will get a full two hours during the Magic Garden Concept show. They will talk about the label, the artists, play some single tracks and also the Essentials mix will be aired in full. It will be on air on Shanghai time, that is Belgian (Central European) time minus 7 hours. Below is some more info about the exact times. Thursday should be the first chance to catch the show. We have also included the info in Chinese for all our Chinese visitors. A number, we are sure, that runs into the thousands :)

The local Belgian radio station Crazy FM will be airing Essentials Vol.1 mixed by Dj's Oonah & Bonas on Sunday January 31st. You can hear it between 23h and midnight Belgian time during the program 'Underground Alert' hosted by DJ Domi Rè. That's at 105.7 FM for Ghent and 105.2 FM for Eeklo.

It's time for another compilation from Dacru Records. It seems only yesterday I reviewed volume 4 of this series, but hey, that was released almost a year ago already. Anyway, a new chapter in this ongoing series, which is again compiled by DJ Nemesis and again got a few well known artists and consists of massive melodic full on with no cheese added, thank you. No vocoders or lyrics here... Let’s give a short impression of the tracks. U-Recken kicks off with Stop Time, a delightfully deep stomper with a massive chugging bassline and a nice melody. Beatnik continues in that vein, but places more emphasis on the melodies, especially towards the climax. Great stuff that makes me feel like I’m standing in front of the ocean, partying my ass off on some beach party. On to Peace Maker (T3), that gives off lots of nice vibes as well. Krunch (T4) make Never End a lot deeper sounding in the 2009 version and it gets all the better because of it. Twilight is back after his debut and this track is just like his album. Atmospheric synth beginning that reminds me of that old Silicon Sound album, Pure Analog. Great track. It gets even more melodic when Ephedrix remix to Electro Sun vs. Brain Damage's Hypnotic Voices (T6). Big melodies, massive bassline, the works. Lamat & Smosh deliver one of the least melodic tracks on here, it’s nice for an in between tracks here and it has this driving feel to it, like a train that keeps going and going. Aquila & Sufi go massive again, but we’re used to that by now. It's acidlines all over the place in this one. Nice track, again, like the previous one it's not too melodic. It sounds just like Aquilla's album, although a little less massive, probably because they collaborated with Sufi on this one. Still, a good track. Finally, the CD ends off with Chronos, who delivers a massive melodic sounding track. It reminds me of Protoculture. I wonder what happened to him lately. Mastering is great, cover artwork smooth and colorful as always and it’s packed to nearly 70 minutes of music.
 
Recomendation:  And there you have it: this is great stuff. DJ Nemesis sure knows how to pick ‘em. If you like your full on melodic, fat and still not cheesy, you should definitely check this one out. I don’t have any downers here, but I do have favorites...

Saturday November 7th a label party for the French label Hadra Records is organized in the town of Elewijt, close to Mechelen, in Belgium. The party is named Hadracadabra in accordance with the compilation series by Hadra. On the line-up of course plenty of Hadra artists: Shotu (who will be presenting his new album), D_Root, Driss and Kokmok. A special guest is E.V.P. from the UK and also Nemesis from Dacru Records is invited to bring his dj set. For more information you can enlarge the flyer.

Good news for all the Dacru fanatics in India! For the first time some Dacru artists will be going to this beautiful country to perform in front of the Indian crowd. The honor is reserved for the DigiCult live act and Nemesis dj set. Both will be available from January 28th to February 8th 2010, so booking opportunity is limited to only 2 weekends! Saturday & Sunday September 19th & 20th there will be a next edition of the T.P.E. open air festival. The event is happening at the Takagawa Space Camp near Tokyo in Japan. On the line-up two live acts by Dacru: DigiCult and Chronos. And also two dj sets: Nemesis and Hessell. Furthermore the line-up is completed with Japanese djs, a few familiar sounding names might be Tokage, Yoshidance and Sari. Take a look at the flyer for more information.
